Information: This special session focuses on recent advances, challenges, and applications of intelligent control for robot systems operating in complex environments. It aims to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss state-of-the-art theories, algorithms, and implementations related to distributed cooperative control, adaptive learning-based strategies, fault-tolerant control, and multi-task conflict resolution, etc. It welcomes contributions covering intelligent perception, adaptive control, distributed perception and estimation, formation control and obstacle avoidance, fault-tolerant control under actuator/sensor failures, neural network and reinforcement learning approaches, behavioral control, as well as real-world deployments in UAV swarms, construction robotics, agricultural robotics, and intelligent manufacturing. The session seeks to promote cross-disciplinary ideas and foster innovations for building reliable, resilient, and intelligent robot systems that meet the demands of emerging application domains.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to: 

• Cooperative control of nonlinear multi-robot systems
• Fault-tolerant control design for multi-robot systems with actuator/sensor failures
• Distributed perception, estimation, and compensation in complex environments
• Formation control, obstacle avoidance, and multi-task conflict resolution
• Applications of intelligent control theory in UAV swarms, construction robotics, agricultural robotics, and intelligent manufacturing
